Yesterday, Team Vitality sniper Mathieu “ZywOo” Erbo became the best player in Counter-Strike history in terms of kill-death difference in official matches.
Thanks to a victory over Natus Vincere, the esports player broke Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev’s record. The Frenchman’s KD difference stands at 10,400, while the Ukrainian’s is 10,372. Third place in this ranking is held by Nikolai “device” Riedtz (9,294), while Dmitry “device” Sokolov (9,058) is in fourth place.
It’s worth noting that ZywOo achieved this result by playing fewer maps than his closest rivals—1,716 compared to 1,922 for s1mple and 2,474 for device.
Team Vitality currently holds a 2-0 record in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 24—first, the “Bees” defeated 1w Team, and then they beat Natus Vincere. Today, ZywOo’s team will face Team Falcons in a match to advance to the tournament’s playoffs.
