ZywOo surpassed s1mple and device combined in MVP awards at big events

The StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 has come to an end—and as a result, Mathieu “ZywOo” Erbo has earned his 26th MVP medal at big LAN events.

Thanks to his victory at the recent tournament, the Team Vitality sniper has surpassed Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev and Nikolay “device” Riedtz combined in this category. It is known that the Ukrainian has earned 14 awards over his career, while the Dane has earned 11. ZywOo was named the best player of a big event for the first time in 2019 at ESC Season 7, and since 2021, he has consistently received at least one HLTV MVP award per year. Taking all events into account, the Frenchman now has 33 MVP awards.

Yesterday, Team Vitality defeated Aurora Gaming in the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 with a 3–1 map score (13–4 on Anubis, 11:13 on Inferno, 13:4 on Mirage, and 13:7 on Cache). The team claimed the tournament title and took home $200,000 in prize money.
