The average number of CS2 players online in June continued to decline, while the peak number increased compared to May

Counter-Strike 2’s peak concurrent players in June reached 1,573,727, according to Steam Charts data.

The average monthly concurrent users stood at 916,655, representing a 1.72% decrease compared to May. The game’s peak concurrent users, on the other hand, increased: last month, it stood at 1,489,217 users.

Previously, the developers added a new Easter egg to the Mirage map in Counter-Strike 2, dedicated to Team Spirit captain Boris “magixx” Vorobyov’s clutch play in the quarterfinals of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 against G2 Esports.
