
Tournament operator Esports Foundation has announced the postponement of the 2026 Esports Nations Cup. The championship was originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh from November 2 to 29, 2026, but is now set for November 2027.
The Esports Foundation stated that the decision was made after assessing the situation in the region and consulting with key stakeholders. The organizers emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains capable of hosting major sports and entertainment events. At the same time, postponing the 2026 Esports Nations Cup is intended to ensure the necessary conditions for national teams, publishers, partners, and fans.
Initially, $17,500,000 was planned to be allocated for the 2026 Esports Nations Cup. A 24-team Counter-Strike 2 tournament with a $1,320,000 prize pool was scheduled to take place. The organizers have not yet announced the exact dates for the 2027 championship.
