The Esports World Cup 2026 will be held with the support of the French government.

The organizers of the 2026 Esports World Cup have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the French Ministry of Sports, Youth, and Civic Life. The agreement provides for support for the tournament and the development of the country’s esports ecosystem.
The parties intend to use the 2026 Esports World Cup as a platform for implementing social and educational initiatives. As part of the partnership, the focus will be on supporting youth, developing digital literacy, promoting responsible participation in esports, nurturing talent, and supporting long-term projects for the industry.
Earlier, the organizers of the Esports World Cup 2026 opened registration for the Last Chance Qualifier tournament series. The final slots for the championship in eight disciplines will be decided during the qualifying cycle. The competitions will take place in Paris from July 5 to August 10.
