Setsu will replace Xm on the Xtreme Gaming roster for BLAST SLAM VIII
The organizers of BLAST SLAM VIII have announced that Chinese mid laner Guo “Xm” Hongcheng will not be playing in the tournament. He will be replaced on the Xtreme Gaming roster by Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong, who previously played for Vici Gaming, LGD Gaming, and Yakult Brothers.

Xtreme did not disclose the reasons for the roster change on social media. Xm is representing the team at PGL Wallachia Season 9.
In 2026, Setsu attempted to qualify for The International 2026 with Yakult Brothers. His team finished in 3rd place in the closed Chinese qualifiers, losing to Vici Gaming in the match for the slot. The mid laner also played for Yakult Brothers.Xiongchumo in the qualifiers for ESL Challenger China Season 3 x ACL 2026. Prior to that, he played for CDEC Gaming, RNG, Vici Gaming, and LGD Gaming.
BLAST SLAM VIII will take place from September 29 to October 11: the group stage will be held online, and the playoffs will take place in Malta. The tournament’s prize pool will total $750,000. Xtreme Gaming has been drawn into the same group as PARIVISION, LGD Gaming, and Level UP.
