The head of ULTI Agency accused Monte of owing Rainwaker money and called for the club to be barred from tournaments
Asgeir Kvalvik, founder and CEO of the esports agency ULTI Agency, accused the Ukrainian club Monte of owing significant debts to its players on his personal X account.
Monte sold Rainwaker to Luminosity about six months before the end of his contract, receiving a substantial buyout equivalent to several years of his base salary. Although Monte profited from his transfer, they still owe Rainwaker a significant amount in prize money and salary—and, importantly, his share of revenue from stickers and digital items from the IEM Cologne Major 2026. If Monte does not settle its debts to the players, it should never be allowed to participate in tournaments again. And until every outstanding debt is paid, I sincerely hope that no player or agency will work with this organization.

Previously, former Monte player Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras accused the organization of delaying salaries, failing to pay tournament prize money, and withholding revenue from team stickers at the Major. His claims were also corroborated by former teammates Orélien “afro” Drapier, Oscar “AZUWU” Bell, and Alex “Rainwaker” Petrov.
