Tikuak: “I still have a lot to learn to perform well on the Tier 1 scene.”
The MongolZ rifler Zolbayar “Tikuak” In an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, Tsimedtseren discussed his transfer to a new team and reflected on his time with the Chinggis Warriors and his upcoming performances at Tier 1 tournaments.
On joining The MongolZ
To be honest, I was a little surprised when I was invited to join the team. At first, it was tough for me because I was so nervous. But now I feel much better after training together for the tournament. ...> Our captain, bLitz, has been a huge help—he sits next to me at bootcamp and often gives me tips, as well as helps me correct my mistakes.
On Playing for the Chinggis Warriors
My time with the Chinggis Warriors helped me gain the competitive experience I needed and taught me how to manage my nerves. Now I perform much better because I know how to relieve stress and regain my self-confidence.
On playing in Tier 1 tournaments
I still have a lot to learn to perform well on the Tier 1 stage—both in terms of communication and mindset. Right now, I play the roles of anchor in defense and lurker in offense. I feel pretty comfortable in these roles thanks to the experience I gained as part of the Chinggis Warriors.
Right now, The MongolZ is facing off against HEROIC in a match during the online stage of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026. If they win, Tikuak’s team will be one step away from advancing to the LAN stage of the tournament, which will take place from July 30 to August 2 in Malta.
