tN1R on comparing chopper and magixx: “Boris is more creative when it comes to calls.”

Team Spirit rifler Andrei “tN1R” Tatarinovich appeared on the YouTube show “Hazyayeva on Wheels,” where he discussed whether he was considered for the captaincy of the “Dragons” and compared Boris “magixx” Vorobyov and Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov.
On the possible role of captain
Long story short... The fact that such a possibility was considered. It wasn’t a 100% guarantee that I’d be chosen as captain. I mean, it was based on the idea that, perhaps, because I’m generally an open-minded and mature person, yes. And captains, they... Well, aside from the fact that you have to understand the game and be willing to take on the role, a captain most likely also has to bring people together around him. Well, it makes sense, right? Because if you take apEX as an example—who’s the most striking example right now—besides being a good captain and perhaps a good person who unites the team, and all that—he also plays to the crowd, crushing his opponents with his rage-bytes and everything else—so I think he’s a prime example that everyone would probably like to follow.
About chopper and magixx
It’s hard to compare. Look, we went through a rough patch when I joined the team under Leni’s leadership. Well, the team was in a slump. And we also had a slump when Boris joined, followed by an upswing over the last few months, which is where we are now. So if you’re comparing the bad periods or pitting the bad against the good, that’s also a debatable point, you know. I think I can just compare the strengths that I like more about Boris. Boris is more creative when it comes to calling. He has different ideas in mid-round situations—that is, in the middle of a round. It’s much easier with him to add and incorporate some random new ideas. <…> And as for calls and everything else, I really enjoyed playing with Lenia, too. He really makes some tough calls. He also has this really cool quality—during a good stretch we had, a short, brief period—where he’d really know how to cheer you on like that.
On taking a break
It’s best not to get into [Counter-Strike], because then you won’t be able to stop playing for four and a half months. Honestly, right now it’s all about meeting up with people and hanging out. For example, I got offered some cool shoots, which is why I’m here—I’m still filming. Just friends, get-togethers, going out.
Earlier on the YouTube show “HAZYAEVA ON WHEELS,” Andrei “tN1R” Tatarinovich said that he didn’t originally dream of becoming an esports player, since he spent a lot of time playing soccer. He also described his first few months at HEROIC.
