In an interview at the BLAST Open Porto 2026, players from FUT Esports and Legacy shared their thoughts ahead of their group stage match.
Yasin “xfl0ud” Koch compared FUT Esports and Legacy:
We’re pretty evenly matched. The win will depend on who got a better night’s sleep or who’s in a better mood. If we shoot faster and better, we’ll win today.
For his part, Eduardo “dumau” Volkmer explained what could influence the outcome of the match:
Yes, we really are about evenly matched in terms of playing style. I think it’ll be an interesting match. Sometimes it’ll come down to who shoots faster, and in some situations—to the decisions our captains make and who can outplay whom.
Legacy captain Andrey “arT” Piovezan stated that his team needs to play excellent Counter-Strike to win:
Both teams are playing great, and we’ve seen that recently. I’d say both teams have a good chance of winning. We have to play excellent CS to win.
FUT Esports captain Aulon “Krabeni” Fazliya also praised Legacy, noting the team’s performance at the recent Esports World Cup 2026 in CS2:
They’re a very good team. They weren’t far behind us at the 2026 Esports World Cup, where they took third place.
Right now, FUT Esports and Legacy are playing a match as part of the group stage of the BLAST Open Porto 2026. The first map, Ancient, ended in favor of Andrei “arT” Piovessan’s team with a score of 13–10, and the next map is Dust2.
