try on joining Legacy: “I think it was a pretty easy choice for me.”

Legacy sniper Santino “try” Rigal spoke in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026 about his move to the new team and how he’s been adjusting there, and also shared his expectations for the match against Ninjas in Pyjamas.
On his transfer to Legacy
When Legacy reached out to me, they were among the top six teams in the world. Their offer was impossible to turn down. I think it was a pretty easy choice for me.
On settling into the team
I used to play with these guys—it’s been four years since then. I think we’ve all matured and gained experience. We had a whole month to train with the new roster. We spent one week in Brazil and almost three in Europe.
On the match against Ninjas in Pyjamas
This is my first time facing Ninjas in Pyjamas in my career, so I have no idea what to expect from them on the server. We’ve prepared well for this match and worked on our strengths. I hope the game goes our way.
Earlier, Legacy announced the signing of try to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The revamped team is currently facing off against Ninjas in Pyjamas in the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup. If they win, the team will compete tomorrow for a spot in the tournament’s playoffs.
