Astini placed Team Yandex and PARIVISION in the top tier of BLAST Slam VII participants
Team Nemesis coach Filipe “Astini” Astini Ribeiro posted his assessment of the competitive landscape at BLAST Slam VII on X.
Astini’s tier list for BLAST Slam VII
- “S” tier: Team Falcons, Team Yandex, PARIVISION, Team Liquid.
- “A” tier: LGD Gaming, BetBoom Team, Team Spirit;
- “B” tier: Tundra Esports, Aurora Gaming, Xtreme Gaming;
- “C” tier: GLYPH, OG.
Filipe explained his preference for LGD over Aurora as follows:
It’s simply a matter of different schedules for both teams during this long season.
HEROIC [LGD Gaming signed the former HEROIC roster. — Ed.] has to give it their all; they’re also preparing for the EWC qualifiers. Theoretically, they should be in peak form right now.
Aurora is the second-most played team this season after MOUZ (which likely underperformed due to burnout). Today, they will most likely receive a TI invite, and with a guaranteed EWC slot, they’ll realize they need to cool off a bit before the season’s two major tournaments.

Well, Aurora, which finished in second place, was the second-best team at DreamLeague, given DreamLeague’s format and their form during the tournament. BLAST is a different format, and the teams will be in a different form. Otherwise, you could just copy the result of the previous event and expect life to be an endless loop. But that’s not the case.
On the other hand, they probably weren’t even the second-best team at DreamLeague. Falcons, Spirit, PARIVISION, and NAVI had a higher win rate. In the group stage, where everyone plays each other, fifth place would be a more realistic outcome for them (if they maintain the same form).

LGD Gaming kicked off BLAST Slam VII with a victory over BetBoom Team—the match ended with a score of 32-6. Aurora Gaming also proved stronger than their first opponent, Tundra Esports, despite a temporary turnaround.
