Aurora Gaming has been eliminated from the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup

Aurora Gaming lost to Rune Eaters in the second round of the survival stage at the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup and was eliminated from the competition.

Aurora Gaming nearly won the first map, but Rune Eaters won a crucial team fight and turned the match around. The second game was dominated by Rune Eaters, who took the lead from the very start and won easily.

As a result, Aurora Gaming is out of the competition, while Rune Eaters advances to the playoffs.

Aurora Gaming finished in 9th–12th place at the 2026 Esports World Cup for Dota 2. The team earned $40,000. The survival stage takes place July 14–15; based on its results, four teams will advance to the tournament’s playoffs, while the rest will be eliminated.
