Dota 2 Update from August 12, 2026: English Localization
On the evening of August 12, Valve released an update that addressed the English localization and the game’s server-side components.
List of Changes
- The files for the settings windows in the main menu have been updated;
- The English localization has been updated;
- Changes were made to the game’s server-side infrastructure.
Previously, the Dota 2 developers released an update that updated the file containing The International 2026 background styles in the game menu, made changes to the Arcane Curse effect from Silencer’s cosmetic item, Aspect of Oscilla of the Crimson Witness, and added in-game voice lines for TI 2026 participants to the Chinese client.
