Grayne: “PARIVISION/Team Yandex are the next Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 champions”

Commentator Anton “Grayne” Afanasenko commented on the results of the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2026 survival stage on his personal Telegram channel, noting the elimination of 1w Team and Aurora Gaming, and naming PARIVISION and Team Yandex as the top contenders for the championship title.

A miracle happened in the last chance match! Okay, Aurora—there were at least some rumors about Mira’s retirement or being kicked from the team, which suggested that things weren’t going smoothly within the squad. But 1W’s completely uninspired elimination at the hands of Vici Gaming—that’s something else. The team was just about to catch its breath—after all, all the issues with the old organization had been resolved, and they could finally play Dota without stress. So much for the most prestigious tournament of the year. I wonder what kind of surprises EWC will have in store for TI2026 after this.

I’m convinced that the underdogs’ fairy tale is over and now we’ll see some high-quality Dota from the “favorites.” Yandex and PV were the most consistent, but one of them isn’t destined to reach the finals because of the seeding. I’m sure Nigma Galaxy is our last hope for a surprise. The road to the finals will be rocky, but with the right momentum, it’s entirely possible.

I’m sticking to my prediction—PV/Yandex are the next EWC champions!
