Larl spoke about the victory over Team Liquid in the survival stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

Team Spirit midlaner Denis “Larl” Sigitov spoke on the team’s Telegram channel about their victory over Team Liquid in the survival stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2.
Hi everyone. Our match against Team Liquid is over. We won 2-1—what can I say about the games? The first game was close; at times, we did a good job of catching them on the map. Early on, we put pressure on them with Witch Doctor and Tiny, and then Lina came into her own. Overall, it was tough to play with only one core hero in the game. We simply played better, and that made the difference in certain moments.
In the second game, it seemed like we had a good lead, but we kind of lost our way a bit with the first Roshan—they took it. Even though we knew they’d go for it, we just thought we’d have time to take both the Tormentor and Roshan. Naturally, they played the map well there; at one point, we needlessly engaged in a 4v5 fight in the top lane, after which the game seemed to get complicated, especially since our Tidehunter was dead.
In the third game, everything seemed to be going well on the lanes—we were free-farming everywhere, they had very little damage, and Alchemist was just fully itemized without dealing any damage. So that’s about it. Thanks to everyone, and good luck to all.
