Malr1ne on Aui_2000: “I think without Aui, I’d be nowhere.”

Team Falcons mid laner Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak spoke about some of his teammates and his coach during Alexander “Nix” Levin’s stream.
On ATF
Ammar literally invented a whole new style of play in the offlane. The thing I love most about Ammar... We were talking about this today—sometimes he screws up, but I love his play in the late game. I really love it, I swear. At times, I even think he’s a psychopath. He’ll literally go solo into the enemy “trio” when we’re all showing up.
He just takes his huge balls and shows them off; he’s not afraid. People, on the other hand, are afraid of him when he goes into the “three-man,” they think the whole team is behind him or something. He just does it; he’s always testing the limits of what he can do. That’s why I love him as a player.
About Topson
I’ll be honest, for the last two years or so—that is, after winning The International—Topson has frankly gone crazy. His genius has just crossed the line, with mid-lane Oracles and stuff like that. For me, it’s that fine line between psychopath and genius.
On Aui_2000 and the smartest people in Dota 2
Aui will be first, Ammar [ATF] third, and 33 second—that’s how it should be. Aui did win three Intels, after all. <...> Even I didn’t have that kind of understanding in Dota. It’s more about numbers, about basic math. <...> Even though he got kicked [from Evil Geniuses] and all that, he’s just a genius; he literally elevated Dota in a way. We have these conversations in our team all the time—people ask if it’s better to buy this item or that one—and he starts checking, comparing, getting down to the nitty-gritty. ...> First Aui, second 33, third let’s say Ammar. I think without Aui I’d be nowhere.
Earlier, Stanislav talked about training in ranked mode and compared games with teammates from the 100th and 1,000th ranks: “To be honest, playing with the 1,000th-rankers has been a thousand times more fun for me this past month.”
