Miposhka commented on the drafts in the series against MOUZ during the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

Team Spirit’s Dota 2 coach, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, analyzed the team’s performance in their match against MOUZ during the group stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup in a team vlog.
On the first game against MOUZ
Well, I liked the draft in the first game. I just didn’t really pay much attention to how the early game played out, but apparently Clinkz’s laning phase didn’t go well at all. And then I also heard that they were targeting him. And, apparently, they pressured Clinkz too hard—Viper was strong. Because of all that, we had to fight our way back later. I wouldn’t say there were any definitive counterpicks against Viper at the start. But the game still showed that the draft wasn’t all that bad.
On the second map in the series against MOUZ
Windranger and Enchantress—those weren’t really the two picks we should have made. Enchantress isn’t exactly the kind of support that pairs well with Techies, and Windranger—it feels like we didn’t need her that early. I don’t know. She’s already playing with Centaur Warrunner. It seems to me that playing with Centaur Warrunner isn’t as comfortable anymore: you buy a Black King Bar—he ults; you buy Manta Style—but by then you’re supposed to already have both the BKB and Manta Style in your inventory. Let’s put it this way. You still have to farm for damage items, and you’ll still be hitting Living Armor anyway. And so on—there are some nuances. I think we rushed this pick. Or we should have picked a stronger carry.

Overall, we didn’t stand a chance—there’s nothing to discuss—the only thing worth discussing is how we could have played better in the early game. Because our heroes were very strong for that situation. We’re stronger with runes. There’s no way they could have gone down to the river and just been killed like that. I doubt that Razor and Treant Protector should be able to kill Techies that easily—yes, something might have gone wrong there, but they still shouldn’t have let him die.
Earlier, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov spoke about his work as a coach in an interview at the Esports World Cup 2026: “I don’t need to play to understand the meta; I just need to watch replays, so it’s easier and less stressful.”
