Streamer and former professional esports player Alexander “Nix” Levin commented on his personal Telegram channel about the ban of LGD Gaming midlaner Santiago Gustavo “TaiLung” Olivosa Agüero for participating in match-fixing.
Hey guys, hello everyone. I heard the news about TaiLung. It’s absolutely terrible, of course. This is, of course, a huge loss for Dota 2. And there are so few young players... Honestly, overall, the influx… There’s no influx of young players left. Now, for the first time, a guy has emerged who’s fun to watch. He turned a Tier 0 team into a contender. And overall, there’s a huge problem with mid laners in their region.
In the end, he was simply banned for “322.” <...> He used to have a team called TaiLung Mafia; apparently, he was up to some shenanigans there with his buddies. It’s sad. This is actually a huge loss for Dota 2, but you always have to think about the consequences when you do something like this—whether it’s worth it or not. Because you could always end up losing your career.
