PGL has suspended TaiLung from The International 2026 for a breach of integrity

Recently, LGD Gaming received information regarding a possible violation of competition integrity principles involving TaiLung, a player on its Dota 2 roster.

Upon receiving this information, the club immediately launched an internal investigation and independently reported the situation and the information available at that time to the tournament organizers. Subsequently, LGD continued to cooperate with the organizers as part of the ongoing investigation and communication, providing the necessary information in accordance with their requirements.

Following the results of the further investigation and communication, the organizers reached a decision on this matter: TaiLung will be banned from participating in The International 2026; furthermore, PGL has decided to ban TaiLung for life from participating in tournaments under its auspices.

LGD respects the organizers’ decision and will comply with all further procedures in accordance with the rules and requirements of the tournaments.

Competitive integrity and sportsmanship are the fundamental principles of professional esports and an inviolable line that LGD will never cross. Regarding any issues that may relate to the integrity of competition, the club will rely on facts and evidence, take necessary measures in a timely manner, independently inform the organizers, and actively cooperate in any further investigations and proceedings.

Currently, the remaining players on LGD’s Dota 2 roster are continuing their preparations for The International 2026 as usual.

In accordance with the special procedure for roster changes agreed upon by the organizers, the club is in the process of replacing the midlaner and completing the necessary procedures. The new midlaner and LGD’s final roster for The International 2026 will be announced as soon as possible after confirmation.
