PARIVISION midlaner Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko spoke about the team’s preparation and future plans in an interview during the official broadcast of the European qualifiers for The International 2026.
On the lack of special preparation for the TI qualifiers
I don’t think we prepared for the qualifiers in any special way. We’re already in good shape after DreamLeague, where we won, and the online portion of BLAST. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the LAN, but in my opinion, we’re ready. We arrived at boot camp four days before the qualifiers, practiced with other teams—that’s it.
On Puppey’s coaching style
[Question: “Did Puppey say you had to win?”]
No, he wouldn’t put that kind of pressure on us. It would have added pressure if he had said it. “You have to win!”—that’s just a bad idea to begin with.
On progress since The International 2025
First of all, we’re a different team now—we have a new coach and a new player. At the beginning of the year, we worked with a psychologist, but I don’t think it went well. In terms of nerves and all that, we’ll definitely be better prepared, but it all comes down to playing well.
On future plans
We’ll need to rest, since the EWC will take place about a month before TI or so. Right now we’ll rest for about five days, then we’ll train with other teams leading up to the EWC; after the tournament, we’ll rest again and head to boot camp before TI.
On picking Meepo on the third map against Virtus.pro
Satanic told Puppey that Meepo fits very well here.
On the loss on the first map against VP
We were just a little sleepy. Nothing special. I remember we had a 16,000-gold lead at the 22-minute mark. The outcome was already a foregone conclusion, but we decided to spice things up and play two more games.
In the qualifiers for The International 2026, PARIVISION is competing under the name TEAM VISION. The team qualified for the tournament of the year by defeating Virtus.pro 2–1 in the slot match. The “Bears” still have a chance to secure a spot if they win in the lower bracket.
