PARIVISION midlaner Vladimir “No[o]ne-” Minenko spoke in an interview at BLAST SLAM VIII about returning to the game after a break, the decision to keep the roster intact, and the team’s motivation.
We’ve been at boot camp for three days now. I took a break from Dota for two weeks at most. After TI, I came back and kept playing because, to be honest, I didn’t really have anything else to do. Then I did take a break for about two weeks, but no more than that. Just a little bit, to be honest. I’d have liked to take at least two months off, but, unfortunately, the season has already started.
Yeah, of course, I’m glad we’re continuing to play together. We decided almost right away not to change anything. Honestly, given our results and the players we have, I don’t see the point in making any changes. We’ll see how things go, but I think everything will be fine.
It feels to me like our team still feels like a new lineup: Zhenya [Noticed] joined just a couple of months before Riyadh started, so we haven’t been playing together for very long. I’d say our team is just a bunch of geeks. That’s how it works: everyone wants to work hard, win, and play Dota. That’s why no one gets tired—I hope.
PARIVISION advanced to the BLAST SLAM VIII playoffs after victories over Level UP and LGD Gaming. In the playoff seeding match, No[o]ne- will face Aurora Gaming. The match will begin on October 3 at 4:00 p.m. Moscow time.
