Carry PARIVISION Alan “Satanic” Galliamov, in an interview at BLAST SLAM VIII, answered a question about whether there is a better carry than him, named Team Yandex support Martin “Saksa” Sazdova, the best player in the world, and also spoke about his favorite heroes.
[Question: Satanic, many people today would call you the best player in the world. Do you still think so yourself? Is there a carry at this tournament that you don’t enjoy playing against? Someone you consider to be just as strong or even stronger than yourself?]
Not among the carries. But I have a lot of respect for Saksa. I think he’s the best player in the world.
[Question: Why is he the best player in the world? Can you elaborate?]
He’s just incredibly consistent and always plays very well. I have a lot of respect for him.
I like the heroes I play, but I’d like to play something like Phantom Lancer or Morphling. I really want Morphling to come back. I want to play Faceless Void more—something like that, real hard-carry heroes.
I’d like to play Luna, but, you know, people pick her when other heroes aren’t that good or when Luna herself is insanely overpowered. Right now, Luna is just a good hero.
Earlier, Saksa talked about how Team Yandex’s gameplay has changed since Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf joined the team. “He’s a completely different offlaner compared to DM. He’s more aggressive and wants to focus on winning the lane and applying pressure,” noted the support player, who won two tournaments at the start of the season.
