Esports coach Lee “SunBhie” Jeong-jae commented on the “Dark Carnival” in-game event on his personal page on social network X and speculated that Valve will soon release another wave of cosmetic items.
I have a feeling Valve will release another batch of these automaton characters along with new wagons. And the whole set will cost $300. And we’ll buy it anyway, proving once again that we only care about the skins, and nobody gives a damn about the professional scene.
On the night of June 26, Valve launched a new event in Dota 2—“The Dark Carnival.” It’s divided into three chapters, and players, as they progress through an interactive map using tickets earned in matches, can earn rewards, treasure chests, and themed cosmetic items.
