Tio Inka on True Sight: “Valve simply has no desire or interest in dealing with this.”

Commentator Paul “Tio Inka” de la Cruz spoke on the La Sopa podcast about the Chinese and European qualifiers for The International 2026 and commented on the rumor that Yakult Brothers support Jiang “天命” An from the hospital to play in the qualifier finals, and explained why Valve stopped releasing True Sight.
On the Chinese and European qualifiers for The International 2026
I wouldn’t get involved in any of Valve’s decisions regarding Eastern Europe or China at all. Anything that supports this region is great. People are still complaining, asking, “Why did they invite Xtreme Gaming? Why does China have two slots?” Who are these people, anyway? One tournament analyst and a couple of other fools.
On the rumor that Tianming escaped from the hospital to make it to the qualifier finals
On the one hand, it’s an insane story about a guy who wants to make it to The International so badly that he’s willing to give up absolutely everything for it. But on the other hand… That’s just so irresponsible. Dude, this is your life. You could have qualified for the next TI. Okay, he’s a bit too old for that now, but you still shouldn’t do something like that. It’s your life. You’re not even going to win this TI—you won’t even make it out of the group stage.
