Team Spirit analyst Mark “sikle” Lerman noted the size of the patch and shared the likely release date for the next major update:
The patch is very short, but I’m grateful for it nonetheless. As the saying goes, ‘when there’s no fish, even a crayfish will do,’ and it will have a significant impact on the meta, since the changes to meta heroes are substantial.
By the way, last year the lettered patch (7.39e) was released two weeks after the major update, and just 2.5 months later, 7.40 was already out.
