Xtreme Gaming knocked GamerLegion out of PGL Wallachia Season 9
Xtreme Gaming defeated GamerLegion 2-0 in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the PGL Wallachia Season 9 playoffs.
On the first map, GamerLegion held a lead of about 5,000 until the 25th minute, but after that, Xtreme Gaming turned the tide of the match and forced their opponents to surrender at the 44th minute. The second map featured numerous twists and turns and ended in the 55th minute in favor of the Chinese team.
GamerLegion finished in 5th–6th place at the tournament and earned $60,000. Xtreme advanced to the losers’ bracket semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Aurora Gaming vs. Natus Vincere match.
GamerLegion competed in the championship with a stand-in—Enzo “Timado” Giannoli played as the carry. The Peruvian player most frequently played Nature’s Prophet at the Budapest tournament—four times, with two wins. He also played two matches each on Sven, Tiny, Windranger, Ursa, and Kez—with a 50% win rate on each of those heroes.
