Danish support player Andreas “Cr1t-” Frank Nielsen participated in the World of Warcraft: Forever PvP tournament, but played only one match. The player streamed the competition on his Twitch channel.
Cr1t- was one of more than 1,700 participants. He lost his first match playing a level 30 priest against a warlock, after which he complained about the organizers’ communication on Discord and mentioned that he was unable to use the Goblin Mortar.
A short time later, Cr1t- decided to withdraw from the championship because the wait between matches was more than an hour and a half.
The tournament’s prize pool was $100,000—it took place over a single day on October 17.
Andreas “Cr1t-” Frank Nielsen is currently on indefinite leave, which he announced on September 9. The former Team Falcons support player will not be competing in the current Dota 2 season.
