Read on for details on the tournament format, participating teams, the schedule for Day 1, and broadcast information.
Format
The group stage will take place on October 20–21. Teams are divided into two groups of 16. Each team will play six matches: Group A on October 20 and Group B on October 21. The top six teams from each group will advance to the Grand Final; teams finishing in 7th–14th place will enter the survival stage; the rest will be eliminated from the tournament.
The survival stage will take place on October 22. Based on the results of six matches, the top four teams will advance to the grand final.
The Grand Final will take place on October 24–25. The sixteen participants will play six matches on the first day and up to seven on the second. On the second day, the Smash Rule will apply: a team must reach the leader’s point total after the sixth match plus ten, and then win one of the following maps to become the champion.
If there is still no winner after the 12th match, a 13th match will be played. The winner of the Midnight Hunters exhibition match will lock one map, after which the leader of the overall standings will select a map for the decisive match.
One point is awarded for each kill. Points are also awarded based on final standings at the end of the map:
- 1st place — 10 points;
- 2nd place — 6 points;
- 3rd place — 5 points;
- 4th place — 4 points;
- 5th place — 3 points;
