Today, October 6, Valve released an update for Team Fortress 2. The developers have made a number of adjustments and fixes to maps and cosmetic items. The full list of changes in Russian is available in our article.
List of Changes
- Added the console variable “sv_wallbug”, which restores the previous behavior when moving on community servers (related to a missing note).
- Fixed camera shaking that occurred and persisted during extended gameplay.
- Fixed a crash when using `snd_mix_async`.
- Fixed the behavior of “sv_parallel_sendsnapshot”.
- Fixed an issue with contract activation on the Marshlands map.
- Fixed a bug where “Team Skeleton” did not hide the Sniper's bullets.
- Fixed a bug that prevented “Bone Chills” from hiding the intended part of the model.
- Fixed a bug that prevented additional style settings for model parts from being applied to a camouflaged Spy.
- Updated the “Wide-Brimmed Thug” model to fix a texture issue.

The “Clown Hood” has been updated:
- fixed a minor geometry clipping issue on the Arsonist’s right shoulder strap in certain poses with the untucked style;
- Fixed texture distortion in the untucked style.
- Fixed an issue with kill tracking for the “Kill an enemy with a train, a saw, or a laser” challenge on the TrainSawLaser map.
- The Marshlands map has been updated: it now uses mp_winlimit 2, as it did last year.
- Updated the numbers required to complete the “Coward!” taunt bonus objectives
- Updated mission objectives for Outburst (VSH).
- The maps zi_blazehattan, zi_devastation_final1, zi_murky, zi_sanitarium, and zi_woods have been updated to fix exploits involving going out of bounds using the Zombie Engineer’s beacon.

Custom maps:
- Various limits for new custom maps have been increased;
- Added the -notjuncsdetail option to VBSP.

Omitted from the Halloween update:
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to get stuck at certain oblique angles between walls and objects.
Previously, the developers released a major update, “Wheeeez Fortress XVIII,” which added five community-created maps, a number of cosmetic items and effects, as well as some fixes and reworked zombie abilities.
