The “Ghost Invasion” finale in Fortnite will take place October 27–31
From October 27 to 31, 2026, Fortnite will host the final “Ghost Invasion.” To wrap up the season, the developers have prepared five days featuring changes to loot drops and an increased chance of specific spirit variants appearing. Throughout the event, players will be able to earn twice as much spirit experience and spirit dust.
Daily Bonuses
Daily changes take effect at 4:00 p.m. Moscow Time. The following bonuses are available during the event:
- Double Spirit Experience and Spirit Dust.
- “Lucky Draw” for completing the daily login quest.
- A chance to find “+1” tokens and portable extractors in chests.
Additionally, weapons will be added to the loot pool every day, and certain Spirit variants will appear more frequently.
“Spirit Invasion” Schedule
Tuesday, October 27
- An overclocked 8-bit shotgun will be added to the loot pool.
- Cheater and Gold Spirits will appear more frequently.
Wednesday, October 28
- A progressive pump-action shotgun will be added to the loot pool.
- Hacker spirits will appear more frequently.
Thursday, October 29
- The “Ball Tyrant” assault rifle will be added to the loot pool.
- Bounty Hunter spirits will appear more frequently.
Friday, October 30
- Logging into the game will reward you with the Fortnite Calaverita graffiti and an emoji.
- Rebecca’s Frenzied Cannons will be added to the loot pool.
- Halloween ghosts will spawn more frequently.
Saturday, October 31 — Event Finale
- The “Hunter-Gatherer,” “Spooky Sprinter,” and “Hide and Seek” modifiers will be guaranteed to appear in mod consoles.
- The “Bone Breaker” celebratory submachine gun will be added to the loot pool.
- The number of pumpkin chests on the island will increase.
Earlier, Fortnite released Update 42.40, featuring new spirits, weapon changes, and a collaboration with “Hotel Hazbin.” The developers also unlocked the final page of Spirit Mastery rewards and added new loot for hacking.
