In any competitive game, people always try to identify the strongest and most talented players, but in team-based games, this is always very difficult to do. Who are the best players in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang? There’s no single answer to this question: it all depends on what exactly you consider to be a measure of skill.
In the game itself, players can be compared by rank and leaderboard standings, while in professional MLBB, they’re judged by victories in major tournaments, individual awards, and prize money earned. Today we’ll take a look at who currently ranks among the top MLBB players, how to identify the best players based on in-game ratings, and which esports athletes have achieved the greatest success on the international stage.
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang ranking system divides players into several tiers based on their skill level. The highest rank is “Mythic”: once this rank is reached, stars are awarded for victories—and although the skill level no longer increases, players often compete to see who has the most stars.
You can view the leaders for this metric in the “Leaderboard” section by clicking the bar chart icon at the top of the game’s main menu.

In the new window, you can view the leaders by number of stars worldwide and on your server separately, as well as compare your current results with those of your friends.
In addition, in the same section, you can view the leaders for other metrics not directly related to gameplay:
In addition, this section features the best squads, leaders by number of fans, and top mentors.

Regional and global tournaments are held regularly to determine the best players in Mobile Legends: Bang. It’s difficult to single out one player with the highest skill in team play, so all five members of the championship roster are considered the best.
The most recent global tournament, the 2026 Mid-Season Cup, was won by Russia’s Team Spirit, while the M7 World Championship in January of this year was won by the Philippines’ Aurora Gaming PH. According to various sources, these are the top players in MLBB.
Nevertheless, tournaments often single out the best player by selecting an MVP based on the results of the entire championship or the final match. Although such an individual award is less prestigious, in a sense, its recipient can be considered the world’s top player at the time of the competition.
The table below lists all the MVPs from major international MLBB events.
| Tournament | Date | Player | Role | Team |
| M1 | November 2019 | Eco “Oura” Giuliante | Experience | EVOS Legends |

Next time, the best team and best players in the MLBB will be determined at the M8 World Championship. The tournament’s decisive stage will take place in Istanbul from January 2 to 23, 2027.
In esports, the best players of all time are often determined by their prize money earnings: the more prestigious the tournament and the higher the finish, the stronger the player. However, this logic doesn’t always hold true in MLBB—for example, at the Summer Mid-Season Cup, the prize pool is three times larger than the amount up for grabs at the M World Championship.
Nevertheless, the money earned at tournaments can show which professional Mobile Legends players have most frequently secured top spots at global tournaments and other prestigious events.
