AC Esports and Team Flash failed to advance to the playoffs — results of Week 8 of MPL Malaysia Season 17
The regular season of MPL Malaysia Season 17 has come to an end. The results of Week 8 matches and the playoff schedule are detailed below.

- Team Vamos 2:1 AC Esports;
- Selangor Red Giants 2-1 Team Rey;
- Bigetron MY by VIT 2-0 Invictus Gaming.

- Team Vamos 2–0 Team Flash;
- AC Esports 2-0 RRQ Tora.
Based on the results of the regular season, Invictus Gaming and Selangor Red Giants will start the playoffs in the upper bracket semifinals. Bigetron MY by VIT, Team Rey, Team Vamos, and RRQ Tora also advanced to the final stage of the competition and will begin in the play-ins, while AC Esports and Team Flash failed to accumulate the necessary points and consequently exited the tournament, finishing in 7th and 8th place, respectively.

Playoff Schedule
June 3, times listed in Moscow time:
- 10:00 — Team Vamos vs. RRQ Tora (play-in);
- 2:00 PM — Team Rey vs. Bigetron MY by VIT (play-in).
June 4:
- 10:00 AM — Invictus Gaming vs. the winner of Team Vamos vs. RRQ Tora (upper bracket semifinal);
- 2:00 PM — Selangor Red Giants vs. the winner of Team Rey vs. Bigetron MY by VIT (upper bracket semifinal).
The MPL Malaysia Season 17 playoffs will take place from June 3 to 7 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The six qualifying teams will compete for two slots in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 as part of the Esports World Cup 2026.
