Aeon commented on Team Liquid PH’s loss on the first day of MPL Philippines Season 18
Ong Wei “Aeon” Shen, coach of the Philippine Team Liquid Mobile Legends: Bang Bang roster, spoke out about the team’s rough start to the MPL Philippines Season 18 regular season. The coach’s comments were posted on the club’s social media accounts.
In my opinion, Team Liquid PH’s loss on the first day of MPL Philippines Season 18 was due to minor mistakes and the players’ complacency. I think we could have won the second and third maps, especially the third one. If the team had played correctly then, the outcome would have been in our favor. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but we can learn from this loss.
Reflecting on the series as a whole, it’s worth noting that we had a decent day. We showcased quite a few new strategies that we’ve recently learned. I think Team Liquid PH performed well, so I’m not too upset about the loss.
Team Liquid PH lost to Team Falcons PH 1–2 on the first day of the MPL Philippines Season 18 regular season. Today, August 22, Team Liquid defeated Omega Esports, taking two maps. Team Liquid PH’s next match in the tournament is scheduled for August 28, when the team will face AP.Bren.
