Geekay Esports has concluded its run at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026
The Geekay Esports roster suffered a 0-2 defeat against Selangor Red Giants in the quarterfinals of the lower bracket of the group stage at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 and was eliminated from the international tournament.
The “Giants” took the first map of the series with a gold lead of 6,900 in 14 minutes. In the next round, Geekay Esports managed to regroup and play aggressively from the very start, leading to a team victory at 12 minutes and 33 seconds. The decisive map ended in a loss for Geekay Esports after 11 minutes.
As a result of the match, Selangor Red Giants advanced to the lower bracket semifinals of Group B, while Geekay Esports finished their run in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 in 13th–16th place.
The group stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 is taking place from July 22 to 26 in Paris, France. Sixteen teams are competing for eight spots in the playoffs. The total prize pool for the global championship is $3,025,000 and 3,550 EWC club points.
