Kid Bomba on Team Spirit: “Our team will show everything it’s capable of.”

Team Spirit’s Matayos “Kid Bomba” Hadjilakos spoke in an interview with the organizers of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 about the team’s participation in the Paris tournament and expressed confidence in the “Dragons’” high level of preparation for their opponents at the event.
On participating in the MSC 2026
We’re looking forward to our matches. We’re happy to finally start playing. We had a really long boot camp, so we’re very excited about the upcoming opportunity to prove ourselves. We’re really looking forward to it, you know? I’ve been training hard because I want to be the best in every game. So I’m really happy.
On the team’s training for the tournament
Our boot camp took place in Malaysia. Three and a half weeks. It was a great time; we trained really well.
We practiced not only with Malaysian teams but also with other Asian teams. We improved in every aspect: decision-making, picking up the pace—literally everything. Our training went better than it did at the EECA. We’ve adapted, and we’ll put what we’ve learned into practice.
On readiness to face opponents
Clubs consider us weak compared to Asian teams; they believe we’re trying to improve while others dominate. But we want to change that at the tournament in Paris. Our team will show everything it’s capable of. My teammates and I have been training hard to prepare for our opponents. Anything can happen.
At the time of publication, Team Spirit is playing the second map of their MSC 2026 group stage quarterfinal match against IGNITE Gaming. Kid Bomba’s team won the previous map, and the series score is currently 1-0.
