On August 21, MOONTON Games released an update for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang test server, which buffed Aulus and Sana, reworked Argus, and made changes to heroes’ enhanced basic attacks.
Hero Changes
The heroes receiving significant changes in this update are Aulus (↑), Argus (~), and San (↑). The symbols (↑) (↓) (~) indicate buffs, nerfs, and changes, respectively.
Hayabusa (↑)
- Shadow width: 0.8 >> 1;
- Improved aim control while moving.
Lucas (↓)
- Damage from “Crush”: 280–580 >> 280–550.
Kalea (↑)
- HP Regeneration: 40 (+10% of total HP) (+60% of total Magic Power) >> 60 (+12% of total HP) (+80% of total Magic Power).
Aulus (↑)
We identified several issues with this hero—slow acceleration, difficulty finishing off enemies during chases, and low survivability. These changes are intended to reduce the charge-up time and increase damage per hit. Additionally, Aulus has gained additional crowd control effects.
After dealing damage with a skill, Aulus gains 2 seconds of enhanced basic attacks; this effect stacks up to two times. During an enhanced basic attack, the hero drives his axe into the ground, dealing damage to targets in a straight line, restoring his health, and slowing enemies. In this state, attack range and attack speed are also increased.
- Damage of enhanced basic attacks: 135 (+15 × hero level) >> 200 (+20 × hero level).
- Hybrid lifesteal removed upon hitting with the first phase of the attack;
- New effect: The first phase stuns affected targets;
- The second phase no longer requires the first phase to hit in order to be cast again.
- Each phase now applies a slow on hit.
Hirara (~)
We’ve increased the maximum level of Hirara’s skills, as well as their cooldown and single-hit explosive damage.
- Max Level: 8 >> 9;
- Cooldown: 9–5.5 seconds >> 10–6 seconds.
- Max Level: 8 >> 9;
- Damage: 150–255 (+65% bonus physical attack) >> 165–285 (+75% bonus physical attack).
Edit (↑)
- New Effect: While inside Philax, Edith can gain Rage by dealing damage to targets with her skills;
- New Effect: Movement speed while flying has been increased;
- New Effect: Edith can now pass through walls;
- Knockback no longer deals damage to nearby enemies.
Kagura (↑)
- New effect: The movement speed of the “Seimei” umbrella now increases based on the distance it travels in a single move.
Hanabi (↓)
- New Effect: If Hanabi’s basic attack or skill bounces off a single target multiple times, subsequent bounces deal 40% less damage.
Karina (↑)
- Cooldown: 7 seconds >> 6 seconds;
- Enhanced base damage: 150–225 (+55% of total ability power) >> 180–330 (+65% of total ability power).
Atlas (↓)
In our opinion, previous adjustments were not effective enough at limiting Atlas’s ability to suddenly initiate fights, so we’ve further increased the cooldown on his second skill.
- Cooldown: 12–10 seconds >> 13–11 seconds.
Lee Sun-Shin (↓)
- Cooldown: 12–9 seconds >> 13–19 seconds.
Mia (↓)
- “Moon Shadow” Damage: 30 (+25% of total physical attack) >> 25 (+20% of total physical attack).
Argus (~)
- New effect: Argus gains an initial critical strike chance;
- Critical hits are replaced with an additional “Demonic Strike” that ignores a portion of the target's physical defense and restores HP.
- Argus extends a demonic hand forward, dealing damage and slowing enemies while dashing toward the selected point;
- When used again, the hero dashes forward and performs a wide swing.
- After attacking, Argus thrusts his Meteorite Sword, dealing damage to targets and stunning them;
- Hitting an enemy hero grants an additional attack speed bonus.
- Argus removes all negative effects from himself, deals heavy area-of-effect damage, and becomes invulnerable for 4 seconds. The additional damage depends on the amount of HP the hero has lost. When the effect ends, the damage dealt to enemies is converted into HP;
- If the ultimate is not on cooldown and Argus takes lethal damage, the effect automatically activates for 4 seconds but does not deal damage.
San (↑)
San’s recent performance has fallen short of expectations, so he has received additional buffs.
- HP regeneration from Doppelganger’s attacks: 12% >> 15%.
- Base damage: 200–400 >> 280–480;
- Damage dealt by the clone: 55% >> 60%.
- Base damage: 355–430 >> 270–320;
- Cooldown: 6 seconds >> 5 seconds.
- Damage dealt by the clone: 70–90% >> 80–100%.
Bruno (↑)
- New effect: While dashing, the hero briefly stuns targets.
Aldos (↓)
- Number of “Soul Steal” charges for killing siege minions/other units: 15/6 >> 12/5;
- Charges gained for hitting/killing an enemy hero: 6/15 >> 5/12;
- Charges gained when allies kill nearby siege minions or other units: 7/3 >> 6/2.
Hanzo (~)
- HP regeneration when attacking Turtles, the Lord, or enemy heroes: 10–20% >> 200–500 (+80% of total physical attack);
- Hanekage’s bonus damage at maximum passive stacks: 15 (+2% bonus physical attack) >> 12 (+3% bonus physical attack).
- HP restoration upon returning to Hanzo’s body: 16% >> 400–600 (+100% bonus physical attack).
Changes to Enhanced Basic Attacks
Enhanced basic attacks for all heroes that are triggered by their skills can now apply health regeneration effects when they hit towers. Any exceptions will be specifically noted in the description of the relevant ability. This change also applies to Sana, Gossan, Tamuz, Darius, and Masha.
Enhanced basic attack effects from emblems, combat spells, and gear—including “Quantum Charge”—will not trigger when attacking towers. When using “Inspiration,” the attack speed boost and defense ignore effects will continue to apply, but HP regeneration will not trigger.
