MPL Indonesia Season 18 Preview: Format, Rosters, and First-Round Schedule

The first matches of MPL Indonesia Season 18 kick off on August 14. The competition format, team rosters, prize pool distribution, and first-round schedule are covered below.

Tournament Format

The regular season will run from August 14 to October 18 in a round-robin format with best-of-three (Bo3) matches. The top six teams will advance to the next stage.

The MPL Indonesia Season 18 playoffs will begin in October 2026. The top two teams from the regular season will advance directly to the second round, while the remaining teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket in the first round. The stage will follow a double-elimination format; all matches, except for the lower bracket final and the grand final—which will be best-of-7—will be best-of-three.
