MSL Myanmar Season 4 Preview: Format, Rosters, and First-Round Schedule
The first matches of MSL Myanmar Season 4 kick off on August 28. The tournament format, team rosters, prize pool distribution, and first-round schedule are covered below.
Tournament Format
The regular season will run from August 28 to October 10 in a round-robin format. Matches will be best-of-three. The top two teams will advance to the play-in finals, while the teams finishing in 3rd and 4th place will advance to the semifinals. The two teams with the worst records will be eliminated from the championship, and the remaining teams will compete in the “Last Chance” bracket.
The “Last Chance” matches are scheduled for October 11. This stage will follow a single-elimination format with best-of-three (bo3) matches. The winners will advance to the play-in semifinals, while the remaining teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
The MSL Myanmar Season 4 play-ins will also be held in a single-elimination format from October 17 to 18, with best-of-three matches. Of all the teams, only four rosters will advance to the playoffs.
The Myanmar Championship playoffs will take place October 24–25 in a double-elimination format with best-of-five (Bo5) matches. To win the grand final of the final stage, a team must win four maps.
