Esports organization ONIC announced on its social media channels changes to its Philippine Mobile Legends: Bang Bang academy roster
ONIC Uprising has parted ways with experience laner NATHZ GOD, jungler Lalush, and roamer MANILABOY. The team’s main roster now consists of second explainer Mico, mid laner Aizawa, and holder YukTzy.

- Masayuki “YukTzy” Fujita (top laner);
- John Christopher “Xy” Bernardino (head coach).
Previously, ONIC Uprising participated in MDL Philippines Season 7. The academy roster finished the group stage in 4th place, won the “Last Chance” stage, and qualified for the playoffs via the play-in. In the final stage of the competition, the team lost to Twisted Minds RWE 0-3 and exited the tournament, finishing in 5th–6th place and earning $2,000 in prize money.
