August 22:
- AP.Bren 2:1 Twisted Minds PH;
- Omega Esports 0–2 Team Liquid PH;
- Team Falcons PH 2–0 TNC Pro Team.
August 23:
- ONIC Philippines 2–0 AP.Bren;
- TNC Pro Team 2–1 Aurora Gaming PH.
ONIC Philippines and Team Falcons PH finished the first week of the tournament undefeated. Team Liquid PH, AP.Bren, and TNC Pro Team each won and lost one game; Twisted Minds PH and Omega Esports suffered losses in their matches; and Aurora Gaming PH failed to defeat either of its two opponents.

The MPL Philippines Season 18 regular season runs from August 21 to October 11 and is being held in Quezon City, Philippines. Eight teams are competing for a prize pool of $150,000 and two slots in the M8 World Championship.
