SAWO on the eighth MCC title: “The most important part is still ahead of us—that is, at the M8.”
Team Spirit roamer Stanislav “SAWO” Reshnyak commented on the victory over Aurevia Team in the grand final of the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8. The player’s video message was posted on the club’s Telegram channel.
For SAWO, this is his eighth MCC title: he has won every season of the tournament. The roamer won his first two titles with Deus Vult, and the remaining six with Team Spirit, which signed this roster in March 2024. The “Dragons’” mid laner, Keriman “Sunset Lover” Kochkarov, has the same number of championships.
So, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and now eighth [MLBB Continental Championships titles]. We won. As for the match itself… What can I say? It was a good match—not bad at all. Three games down, okay, two games down: the second and third. We had to make a comeback. We won 4–0. Well done, Aurevia. At the very least, because we beat Team Yandex. We proved to be the stronger team. We prepared better, our teamplay was better—everything was better. In short, we won 4-0. A huge thank you to everyone who’s cheering us on. Keep cheering for us. And the most important part is still ahead—the M8. Cheer for Team Spirit—keep it up.
On October 31, Team Spirit defeated Aurevia Team 4-0, earning $10,000 and a spot in the main stage of the M8 World Championship. It will take place in January 2027 in Turkey. Aurevia Team advanced to the decisive match from the lower bracket, where they defeated Team Yandex in a best-of-five series. Both teams will begin their M8 campaign in the Wildcard stage in Bangkok.
