Team Vamos defeated Team Spirit and advanced to the playoffs of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026

Team Vamos defeated Team Spirit 2-0 in the upper bracket semifinal of Group A at the 2026 MLBB Mid Season Cup, securing a spot in the tournament’s playoffs.

The match began with a victory for Team Vamos. The Malaysian roster applied constant pressure on the “Dragons,” ultimately securing the first map. On the second map, Vamos maintained the initiative, destroying all of Team Spirit’s outer turrets in 10 minutes. After another 10 minutes of battle, the Malaysians finally prevailed over the Russian team and won the series.

As a result of the match, Nikodemus “Natco” Koesnadi’s team advanced to the final stage of the competition, while Team Spirit dropped to the lower bracket.

The group stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 runs from July 22 to 26 and is taking place in Paris, France. Eight of the sixteen teams will secure spots in the playoffs. The tournament’s prize pool totals $3,025,000 and 3,550 EWC points.
