Yangon Galacticos defeated Geekay Esports in the Group B semifinal match at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026. The series ended with a score of 2-0.
In the early stages of the first map, YG set the pace, allowing the team to take the lead in gold. The Myanmar squad rapidly expanded its advantage and successfully stormed the opponent’s base by the 10-minute mark. The second game, like the previous one, was controlled by YG.
As a result of the match, YG advanced to the Group B semifinals, while GK can no longer afford any mistakes and will continue in the lower bracket. Their next opponents are PRO Esports and Selangor Red Giants, respectively.
The group stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 will run through July 26, after which eight teams will advance. The esports festival was moved from Riyadh to Paris, and the MLBB tournament’s prize pool totals $3,025,000.
