According to the published calculations, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, MOUZ, Team Falcons, G2 Esports, Aurora Gaming, and FUT Esports have virtually guaranteed their invitations to the Major—their chances stand at 99.9%. All of the aforementioned leaders are in contention for a direct invite to the third stage of the championship. Following them are Astralis (99.8%), BetBoom Team (92.0%), and HEROIC, whose probability of qualifying is estimated at 82.7%. All three of these teams are currently close to securing invitations to Stage 2 of the event.
Next in the invitation zone are Nemiga Gaming (79.9%, Stage 2) and 1w Team (78.4%, Stage 2). Rounding out the list of teams advancing to the season’s main tournament are FaZe Clan (66.8%), Natus Vincere (64.5%), B8 Esports (63.0%), IC Esports (62.6%), Ninjas in Pyjamas (55.5%), and PARIVISION (50.5%), all of which are currently in contention for seeding in Stage 1.
Ninjas in Pyjamas and 1w Team deserve special mention, as they have significantly improved their standing thanks to their recent results — their chances of receiving an invite have now risen to 55.5% and 78.4%, respectively, allowing them to hope for higher seedings. Conversely, Fnatic (6.8%), Virtus.pro (4.3%), and K27 (4.2%) have virtually no chance of qualifying for the tournament.
Earlier, analyst Finn “Mischief” Farrer had already presented similar calculations based on the Asian VRS ranking. According to his previous predictions, TYLOO had the best chance of qualifying at 89.92%, followed by BC.Game Esports at 83.01%.
