FISSURE co-owner Andrei Mikheev commented on the current debts owed to participants in past events. His statement was published on the TO’s official website.

FISSURE has been working with China for many years, and what I value most is that during this time we’ve managed to make true friends here. We’ve known the GGMEDIA team for a long time, and it’s very important to us that this friendship has grown into a major strategic partnership.

I also want to address directly the issue of our obligations to the teams from past tournaments. We haven’t forgotten about them, and thanks to this partnership, payments have already begun. We plan to settle a significant portion of the debt before the tournament begins and pay the remaining amount in installments. Our goal is to fully resolve this matter as soon as possible.

We will continue to look for ways to accelerate this process. We are in direct contact with the teams and will also publicly report on key updates. Our reputation is the most valuable thing we have.

In June of this year, tournament operator FISSURE disclosed its financial obligations to participants of past events in accordance with Valve’s rules on preventing conflicts of interest. At that time, the tournament operator owed prize money to 15 professional clubs, including Team Falcons, FURIA, and Astralis.
