A spectator ran onto the stage at the LANXESS Arena during the IEM Cologne Major 2026 semifinal between Team Falcons and Team Spirit.
On the second map of the match, with the score at 3-0 in favor of Team Falcons, an unidentified fan climbed onto the stage toward the “Falcons” players. After a brief confrontation with an ESL staff member, the fan ran past the Major trophy and returned to the audience. In response to the incident, organizers stepped up security around the stage perimeter.

The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Cologne, Germany. Of the 32 teams that entered the competition, only two remain: Team Falcons and FURIA, who will face off today for the championship title. The Major’s total prize pool is $1,250,000.
