A new wave of bans has swept through CS2—in just one day, more than

Last Thursday, August 6, Valve carried out a new wave of account bans in Counter-Strike 2. This information was shared by the csstats.gg portal.

According to the service’s data, a total of 9,408 bans were issued on August 6, though the specific reasons were not specified.

The previous wave of bans took place on June 19 of this year, when a total of 8,217 VAC bans were issued. That coincided with the game’s 27th anniversary, and the developers wrote a message to fans, thanking them for their loyalty to Counter-Strike.
