aqua showed what the new “Patrol” feature will look like in Counter-Strike 2
Data miner aqua shared a post on his personal X account showing what the new “Patrol” mode will look like in Counter-Strike 2. According to him, users will be shown match replays with X-Ray enabled, after which they will need to determine whether a player used cheats.
It appears that the new VACNet reporting portal for CS2 displays a roughly three-minute clip with X-Ray enabled. At the end, you decide whether the player used aim assist, wallhacks, movement scripts, or was an automated account (such as a farming bot).
Correction: The video can be as long as 6 minutes, but you’re only shown a 10–15-second clip from the entire video. I think different people see different parts of the same video.
Earlier, Valve released a minor update for Counter-Strike 2, in which it added a reference to the “VACNet marking portal” and its logo. Also, a “CS2 Video Review” section has appeared on the game’s official website, which may be related to watching match replays and could serve as the equivalent of “Patrol” from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
