Analyst Jesper “Udknud” Larsen discussed potential issues Astralis and FUT Esports may face in securing invitations to the PGL Major Singapore 2026 due to roster changes. He wrote about this on his personal page on social media platform X.
According to Larsen, if FUT Esports does not play five matches at the PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, Nikita “cmtry” Samoletov could end up on the invitation rosters for two teams at once—FUT Esports and Astralis. In that case, the player will have to choose which team to represent at the Major.
The analyst also considered a less likely scenario in which Astralis loses both of its remaining matches at each of the two upcoming tournaments. If the Danish team still has a chance at a wildcard invitation, Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Jakob “jabbi” Nygård could be included in its roster for qualification purposes. Since the rules allow for only one substitute player to be registered, Astralis will have to include one of them in the main roster to form a valid roster.
Astralis previously announced that Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Jakob “jabbi” Naigard were leaving the CS2 roster by mutual agreement. Both players’ contracts expire at the end of 2026. HooXi has played for the Danish club since June 2025, and jabbi since November 2023.
